Cody's Corner

With the hunter's roundup coming up on the calendar I was thinking about what we could do to help our hunting friends out. It's generally a low-tech sport but there are a few devices and services that we can offer.

Technical support for their electronic equipment. I'm sure most of them are bringing at least a cell phone and some sort of laptop or touchpad. If not, we have those on hand.

Cameras. I'm not sure how much help we can be if the camera isn't working but we can certainly help them if they need to upload an image they took to their computer or other device for safe keeping or sharing with friends and famly.

GPS software for smartphones. It seems just a quick search on the internet and you can find hundreds of applications available to use for hunting wild game. It's amazing what is out there for such a low-tech sport.

I guess it really depends on the hunter himself/herself. They may not want technology assistance but we want to make sure they know we are here if they do need it.

Take care and happy hunting.
