Computer Classes at the El Progreso Memorial Library
We are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the classes for the public starting November 17, 2011. It will be from 5:30 - 6:30pm. The class is limited to 8 participants per session, so please JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING if you are interested. Depending on the interest, space, and availability we may have several on the same subject. Our first class is called "Internet 101".
This class is an introduction to connecting and interacting on the internet - How it works, using search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) to find what you need. Are you new to the Internet? Are you wondering what is so important about being connected online? Maybe you would just like to know what's new and how it can benefit you. This introductory course will guide you through the basics, while providing up-to-date information on the latest online tools and technologies.
If you are interested in taking other computer classes, please take our survey to let us know which subject you are most interested in so we can tailor our classes to meet your needs.
